What We Believe

Our Vision

Our vision for the church is that of God’s loving family establishing the kingdom and will of God on earth as it is in heaven for individuals, families, communities and nations.

Our Values

We are committed to:

  • Minister to the Lord Himself. The most important thing is His presence in our lives and our relationship with the Father.
  • Passionately pursue and participate in the present move of the Holy Spirit in renewal, revival, and restoration.
  • Free and full expression of our thoughts, feelings, and desires in worship of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • The rich dwelling of the word of Christ and the gifts of the Holy Spirit among us.
  • Healing and personal victory by faith in the Name of Jesus.
  • Personal and corporate prayer and fasting.
  • Train and send our members for supernatural service and witness.
  • Promote relationships of integrity and love for all people.
  • Accountability to each other and God-ordained leaders.
  • Partner with other Christians to establish the kingdom and will of God locally and globally.

About Wellspring

The Lord established the church in 1976 as a small home meeting with ten or twelve people growing as it moved from house to house. Although small in number, those first days were days of tremendous outpouring and visitation of God's presence.

A Well of Living Water

In one of our early services, many years ago, the Lord gave a vision of a well and the church sitting around the well. In the vision many people were coming from all over clothed in rags, dying of thirst and hunger. As each one came, we would say, “Come and have a drink,” and we would reach down with dippers into the well and give them a drink. Everybody was dipping into the well and pouring water over the heads of the people, watching their countenance change as they received a refreshing drink.

Our Senior Pastor

Senior Pastor John Heiss has ministered in Word, Worship and the Arts as a speaker, singer, pastor and educator in churches, conferences, schools, and seminars in the US and nations around the world for over thirty years.
