David and his wife, Michelle, have been involved in short term mission trips since 2006 going to Nicaragua, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Singapore. During those mission trips they have had a chance to preach the good news to thousands, seen several hundred come to The Lord, watched The Lord heal hundreds through prayer, loved on orphans, helped with small construction projects, and been involved in training others in ministering the gospel in word, signs, and deeds.

Sylvia Evans loves the Word — and makes it live for all who hear. An in-depth Bible teacher with prophetic anointing, she seeks the Lord for a “word in season” for each occasion as she ministers in churches, conferences, retreats, Bible schools, and leadership seminars throughout the US, Canada, and other nations around the world. The Founder and Director of Creative Word Ministries, she has been taking the “Creative Word” to the world since 1975. She is also a “Missionary-at-Large” for Elim Fellowship and is an instructor at Elim Bible Institute and College in Lima, New York, USA.

Ken and Nancy Gerry, Senior Pastors of New Life Christian Center in Norfolk, Virginia, were wed over 25 years ago after graduating from Pinecrest Bible Training Center and have 2 sons. They took a struggling store font church in a poverty stricken neighborhood that had 10 go-go bars, multiple adult bookstores, and was crime ridden in every way. After moving into the neighborhood and faithfully ministering to the poor and the needs of the community, God began to move in miraculous ways. Today, Ocean View leads Norfolk in Community Development; what once was an undesireable place to live has now transformed into a lovely beachside community. YEAH GOD! Both Pastors Ken and Nancy have Doctorate of Divinity Degrees from The International Seminary of Bible Theology.

Abner Suarez’s life is a testimony of the goodness and faithfulness of G-d upon a person’s life.
As a freshman in college, Abner’s life and destiny would be forever altered through a moment of
surrender that resulted in a life-changing encounter. Since that moment, Abner’s life has been
marked with a deep hunger to know G-d and to walk in an expression of His character and power
as a lifestyle.

From that place of friendship with G-d, Abner began to understand the calling and assignment
upon his life. The ministry of For Such A Time As This, Inc. was birthed with a G-d given
assignment to fulfill Jesus’ mandate to disciple nations (Matthew 28:16-20). A key paradigm by
which this mandate is fulfilled is through the belief that the Church has entered a third apostolic
reformation. At the foundation of this reformation is a people who intentionally build their lives
upon friendship and fellowship with G-d. This message is woven into every aspect of For Such
As This, Inc’s assignment of equipping the Church.

Abner Suarez is the President of For Such A Time As This, Inc. He is an ordained minister with the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening under the leadership of Randy Clark. He holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degree from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. He also holds a diploma of Master of Ministry from the Wagner Leadership Institute. He is an avid reader, coffee drinker, and suffering New York Jets fan.
